I wanted to let everyone know about a new place to ride.

They are located in Ft Meade FL (Central FL) and they have about 1800 acres to ride.  Currently there are about 30 miles of cut (wide) 2 way trails.  The trails will lead you to a picnic table (under a tree!!!), trash can and a posted map telling what part of the park you currently are so you will not get lost no matter how hard you try.  They also have a 1/2mile dirt mx track, small r/c track and mud pits.

The trails are all flat and are perfect for sport quads.  There are some that are just made for speed then some that are more technical.  I went with a small group on Saturday after they had received rain a few days prior.  The trails were 90% dry.  There were a few small areas that has a small puddle that were less than a 1/2" deep.  We were able to ride every trail with our quads and we do not have air boxes for the filters.  I can say that we had a blast!!!!!  We are actually going back 2 weekends from now to camp for the entire weekend.

The mx track will need some work but I will tell you that the owners can/will do everything to make us happy!!!  I am sure that the track will be fixed shortly though!!!!

One thing that I am going to ask the owner for is a drag strip.  There is plenty of space right next to the mx track to make this.  It can be just like the old drag strip at sand mountain.  Just a sand strip.

For the mudders they have a HUGE MUD PIT that appears to be a drag racing style pit.

I forgot my camera so I currently do not have pictures to show but I will post some in a few weeks.

The name of this place (and DO NOT let it fool you) is Dirty Foot Mud Ranch.  This is their link
http://www.dirtyfootmudranch.com/mud/

They have lots of pictures on their face book page so look them up

I can tell you that I have been to Waycross (GA), Croom, Big Scrub, Delancy, Rancho and Motoplex.  No disrespect to any of these mentioned but this park is equal to any of the above.  What is so nice about it for me is that it is just an Hour away, so I can get there much more often.

I always see threads on this site asking where you can ride legally in Florida and have family fun.......my new answer is Dirty Foot Mud Ranch or if you want to go north then Motoplex!!!

Sorry for the long post........if you get any thing from this get this:

TRY THIS PARK OUT you will enjoy it!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure I would want to be racing down a two way trail  Undecided. What are their hours and cost to ride there?

I watch a couple of the videos they have on their facebook page...

Are they going to keep letting the UTV's on the MX track running two up with no helmets? Letting UTV's on an MX track is a major safety issue, let alone running 2 up and forgetting the fact that they aren't wearing helmets...

Gates open at 3pm on Friday and close at 5pm on Sunday.

I do not know of a one way trail system in FL......yes you have to be cautious as you do everywhere

Cost is $20 per person for the entire weekend including camping

I totally agree and this is something that will be discussed I am sure.  They have not had too many sport quads there yet since they have just opened and since no sport quads have been there I believe the owner has just allowed anyone to openly ride on it.

Correct me if I'm wrong because I haven't been there yet... But Motoplex has one way trails don't they?
Keeping the UTV's off the track will also keep the track maintenance down too...

I haven't been out to the Ranch yet but I think I might have to...

Motoplex does have a loop (7 mile I believe) that is designated one way. The rest of the trails are 2 way and once again I think the plex is great. I just wished it were closer to me.

The Motoplex has a new 25 mile one way loop that incorporates most of the dry sections of the property.

Currently a part of the start and finish (It starts and finishes by the showers) are submerged so for the sport bikes, we temporarily have broken it back down into some 2 way trails and 2 one way trail systems, one 7 miles long and the other 3 miles long.

Don't be a hater Z, the guy just mentioned the plex had one way trails in response to a comment that no other park in Fl had one way trails.

Jayman (the guy who started this thread) is a friend of mine and been to the plex a few times. This forum is how we communicate with each other.

In fact Jayman took a live broadcast DJ out into our swamps one time a couple of years ago to do a live feed on a large N Florida country radio station once. We got history.

No need to be a tater hater !!!!!!!!!

you guys are just BORED beyond belief in that part of the state.  plain a simple!   It is a shame the plex could not be a little closer to civilization.   I feel bad cause you the owner (paul s.) are truly a good guy for the place. Its just that this place is remote in comparison to the MAJORITY of the users.   Man, I hope the economy turns around!!!    Dude you gotta know I only wish you guys the best and I hope your place is successful.

Funny, but most of the people who post about the motoplex on this forum are from Central Florida. If you think Tampa-St Pete-Orlando are remote, then I guess you shouldn't come to Madison County lololol.

I don't think spending 10-20-30 mins a day bullchizing on the forum with your friends and customers throughout the state qualifies you as being bored beyond belief. I have 6 windows going on my pc right now and am as busy as a cat burying chit right now.

At least we all got places to ride Z. Seems like you always griping about no place to ride. Try movin to the USA and ya might be able to ride legally. On second thought I think ya oughta just stay down there and leave us alone.
