I got more details on the camp site that gsxr1000 posted. For primitive camping it's $16.50 / night for the first 4 ppl. After that it's $3/person/night. It's only 2 miles from the start. I'm thinking of camping Friday and Saturday after the ride, then coming home Sunday. It always seems more fun to hang out after the ride and get to know each other. This seems like a great place to do it since it's so close.
Is anyone else interrested in camping with me? It'd be nice to get a decent size group together.

As fast as that thing is you should be able to hydroplane across any water. I dont know the trail but you know we will get you trough it or around it. |

you would turn left on 316 cross the ocklawaha river and make the first left (160th st) after you cross the bridge. go 1/2 mile turn left. jeff |

we will have to be especially carefull about parking here. we need to pull in tight as to make enough room for everyone, like we did on the rodman IV ride. the rangers will probably be watching us so be on you best behavior and as hard as i know it will be, please do not go into the county gravel pit, it is posted and we have to stay out. we will be parking by the entrance to that pit.

Of course dirt bikes are welcome. He can ride a mule if he wants.
ill just have to buy him a mule the hey atleast the mule could carry all the stuff. then thats me and a friend will be there. |

I know wasn't that so irritating of them. And rude! Have you ever seen such selfish rudeness on a ride. Sorry man no pack mules. LOL!
Ok we're getting closer. Not sure where you're staying. There's already a site at Oclawaha (or how ever you spell it). Just join us at site T 5. No sence in getting another site. We've already got this one and can cut expenses for everyone.
Jim, Larry, and myself are going to be getting there probably between 4-5 on Friday. If you want to camp with us PM me and I'll give you reservation information. See y'all there. Hope to see more ppl join us to camp.

As far as parking under the bridge goes, not a bad idea. There is a lot of room there, I dont know as far as exactly whats legal. The area under the bridge and the pit area are both greenways property not ONF.

QT31Nfla, if you are staying were I think you are that camp ground has a pool. When I first got my quad went there for as day trip. They would let you camp and ride out of camp ground. Then some messed it up and lady that owns it stoped quads from riding out of there.
I am thinking about maybe big MAYBE coming over early and camping with you guys. If I can get off early Friday then I just might be there if not will see you Sat morning.
