Well it's an old project that is finally starting to come around.  It's a Chevy 2.8L V6 to go back into my buggy.  I still have a long way to go but the closer I get the more excited I get LOL I think for most people it wouldn't do anything for them (because its so small) but I like it.  A nice new fresh motor for the ol' buggy.  Cool

I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.

Thanks for the replies!  I am "dry fitting" everything I have to make sure I have all the bolts and nuts and...... of course I am a few short  Roll Eyes  Went to sunshine ace today to get what I needed so far.  I still have a ways to go.  The big items I need are the distributor, carb, and headers.  The rest will be small things.  That motor that was in there was old and had thousands of miles and still lasted about 11 years.  With a fresh motor it should last through my kids  Grin  Anyway heres some pics of the buggy this motor is going in. (I am sure some of you have seen it many times on here LOL)

Lord how things change!  Some of you may remember a few years ago I was trying to sell this buggy.  Money isnt really better but with our two sons (2.5 and 9 months) I decided I may loose everything but I am keeping this buggy for them.  No bank, landlord, irs, or Obama will be able to take it away from those boys.  Anyway, sorry for the rant.

Well my little motor is running now!  Cool Here's a video of it... be easy on me LOL I know there are a lot of "jerry rigged" things going on around the motor.  (ie: wire holding the spark plug wires up, vicegrips on the fuel return, vacuum advance hose had to be lengthened, vicegrips holding the power steering pump pulley from rattling, yada yada)
