  Saves a little bit of trouble getting the kids legal, still a BS way for them to make more money.

Definitely save time and inconvenience, but like you said just another way to rake in the cash. I don't care what they see or how they click the mouse, it can't do much for safety of riding an atv in real life. If their actual goal was to get everyone to watch the videos and learn the rules they could all offer the online course for free.

If you complete the online course, it appears you get what's known as an observer certificate.  Still lets you ride but I'm not sure what the difference it makes between an observer and atv cert.
