FTR next year
«

Who here is doing FTR next year? I'll be at all the races, except the first two because I won't be 16 at the time. Should be fun, I was talking to a refferee and he was saying that there will be an A, B, and C class next year.

We will be there for most of them. We will miss the first one because it is the same weekend as Lorretta Lynn's GNC MX race in Tennessee.
I will be Quad Women and some Quad C maybe. Trent will be Pee Wee Quad 4-6 and Mike will likely Quad C.

In FTR MX I do not believe that there is going to be an A class. There was not a proposal writen up in time to add that Class.
As far as the turn out for the Quads Last year the B class, C class, and the +35 class averaged 10 riders on the gate. I believe with the addition of youth classes our numbers will increase.
We still have one more vote to make the Youth quad classes official but it looks really good.
Here is a list of classes that should be running next season.
Quad B
Quad C
Quad Women
Quad +35
Youth 4-8 0-50 cc production frame/case
Youth 7-12 51-90 cc production frame/case
Youth 13-15 91-200 cc 2 stroke/91-300cc 4 stroke production frame/case
Have and questions let me know. I am the MX Quad rep for the coming season.

I'm in for the FTR Quads series, I'll try to make as many races as I can in both series and will try to do the GNCC that takes place in Florida, I think will be at DeLeon Springs like this year, the others are little to far for me, I'll love to do more ...
Hope every body join us, there are classes for everyone

I really think that the Quads are going to step up and have some big classes this next year in the MX Series. I have been talking to many people and the turnout looks like it is going to be good. For those of you that have not joined FTR now is the time. Go to
www.Floridatrailriders.org
and join NOW. Membership goes up the end of July.

I have been talking to girls that run Dade City too. I really want to see a larger turn out for Quad Women. Other wise I will be running C. I would be so much fun to leave the gate with more than 3 - 4 of us.

ftr needs an 'A' class the top riders quad riders are getting pretty tired of racing for a 3 dollar platue i rather go practice some were else were i can get 30 to 40 laps of riding time. i have been racing quads since 1987 back then we were able to run in the gold cup series winter am series and fmc series. the A class or expert class was allsome back the top riders in the state doing battle even out of state riders like donny banks, shane hitt, sean finley and many more. i remember making up to 280 dollars a weekend i know thats not that much but a least it help out and it brought the fast guys which brings out everyone else to watch and learn and to ride the other classes. quads are 3 times more exspensive than bikes. we need a brake i spoke to many of the top riders in the state everyone agreed with me its time we deserve it p.s. at least get a quad on the plateu in stead of a dirt bike.

I should be racing in all of the races except one. If I race, I will be on the yellow z400 in C class just because its my first year, but I should see myself in B by the end of the season.
Look for the grey lightning pulling up with one quad in the back and no tools...haha ( oh yea I seem so prepared)
I look forward to racing this August in the Harescramble event in sweethingyer fl. My first time racing, so look out!
WHY CANT I SAY SWEET W@TER?!
