Wanted to officially say hello. I've been riding street bikes for 13 years now and over the past three years been doing track days and raced last year on the North Florida Wera circuit. This year I decided to try something new and purchased a race prepped YFZ450. Still haven't decided on xc or mx. Figured I'd introduce myself and get some feedback from u guys. Hope to meet some of u in person, whether at race events or just some good trail riding parks. Oh yeah, and posting from my phone sucks. lol

Welcome man. Mx or xc is really all about which you enjoy more. Mx is more expensive because there's a lot more strain on the quad when your hurling through the air. I love both but race XC right now just because of the cost. Plan on getting dirtbike for mx soon though. you can dig up plenty of info on both sides of the sport on these forums though, your in the right place.
