Sean Huh MR. I will show Borich whats up?? He didn't even finish 1 lap. Although, I would have done the same. It is not worth messing up bearings or your motor this close to the GNCC's. Hell i didnt even race because of the conditions.

How many teams entered, how many finished?

17 teams entered, most of them finished. It's hard to tell, because a couple of teams got pretty far ahead and just kept a dry eye on how many laps ahead of the competition they were.

I think that we had 3 teams pull out after 2 laps and everyone else pretty much kept on going for all/much of the 6 hours.

We had a few pro's there (Borich, Bithell, Rowlings), but I think they were too comfortable in their big hauler...can't say that I blame them   Wink

The rain was awful. Weather.com had forecast 1/2" of rain, according to our neighbors rain gauge, we actually had an 1" and a 1/4 in the 4-5 hours just prior to the race. We had rerouted  the course, through the already rain soaked property based on a worse case 1/2" basis, so an 1-1/4" falling all the way up to the start time...well it made for a challenging course.

Thanks to all that showed and all that braved it.  Grin

it was a great time. I got some sh*t stuck in a jet and that was th causing of me to be towed out of the woods on my (i believe) 6th lap. I need to replace some bearings, and chain and sprockets. It was definitely an endurance race.Hey paul, could you post up lap times or a picture of the print out sheet?

I was glad i ironman'd that pregnant dog. It was definitely an experience. I needed a jetski instead of the quad.

My pockets are not as deep as theirs and in case you didnt read  the above............they didnt race this time, Hmmmmmm, wonder why?
I made a calculated decission to not destroy my quad on a meaningless race with the GNCC right around the corner. I have already made a commitment to a fellow rider to help with the exspenses to 4 of the GNCC races and if i had to replace all my bearings again i would not have been able to do so.
Where were you?

Where were you?

I was at home reviewing all the smack ya were talkin about the race in the comfort of my dry house. I never said one word about what I "will" or what I am gonna do. I don't make a habit of talkin a bunch of krapp about any race cause it can always come back and haunt ya and make ya look kinda silly in my opinion.  Grin  Wink  Seriously though, I just got my quad back from shop like a day before the race. I am sorry that ya feel like that race was so "meaningless", I'm sure that makes Paul feel pretty good?Huh Would it have been considered so "meaningless" had you won the race?  Undecided
