OK, just too give you guys an update to the current conditions at the Motoplex.

Wet, Wet, Wet.

We have more water now at the motoplex than we have ever had. If you have a utility 4x4 bike and don't make the trip to the plex soon, you are missing out on the best riding ever. We have so much water flowing through our swamps that the first mile and last mile of the new one way trails are completely submerged in 2'-3' of water.

This has forced us, in the short term to revert back to mostly 2 way trails, except the 7 mile one way loop and the Witches Coven one way loop. They will both remain one way. This will be in effect, past the feb feature weekend until the start/finish area dries out.

If you are planning on attending our upcoming (this sat) endurance race this is going to change things a little.

Knowing Matt is going to be riding my Raptor, I am going to make sure you have a fun, challenging and mostly DRY course to run on. We will put it in this week, I have no idea of how the start/pit will work until we put the course together, but I will try to make it more pit friendly. The course, if we want to stay dry (which I assume you do) will obviously be shorter. At this point, I am guesstimating around 9 miles long.

Thanks for the update Paul. I speak for myself when i say that i would prefer a mostly dry course but a few wet areas would not be to bad. A 9 mile loop is fine too, it just means we get more laps and it will be nice and rough by the end of the race thus allowing the tougher teams o rise to the top.

Go to GNCC.com and watch their race videos to see what kind of mud and water they ride through to help you make the course.

I would ask that you heavily water, if needed, the scoring and rider change out area so the scorers, spectators, and teammates dont get dusted out while waiting. You watered last time but it dried out and every time a rider came through it was pretty dusty for the scorers and picture takers Wink

Love you man and see you friday around 2ish

I'll put the water truck up there for you sir, I doubt I will have the time, but I'll make the water available for anyone standing around.  Wink
