Looks nice but at 1200+ lbs and 65 inchs wide the leaf lickers will have it banned.

I doubt it. The Honda big red tips the scales at just over 1430 pounds and is 64 inches wide in stock form and it only seats 2. And besides that "Big Red" is more like a Big Eyesore no matter what color you get. And it's MSRP is about $12K. The Polaris offers much more. Just like with the IRS sport quads, Honda is bringing up the rear in the new vehicle market. For the extra $3 K I'd get the Polaris with twice the seats, Fox adjustable suspension, etc. and leave the big sled to the geriatric crowd that are more concerned with the Honda moniker than the actual performance of the machine.

agreed yamaha seems to be right there with honda, in the back seat, i don't know what there doing letting popo get all this action, BUT I give Polaris credit
they are on there game and making something for every section of the market, farmers, hunters, sport guys, family sport guys etc, etc.... I had a rzr
and said it would probably be my last polaris but this 4seater looks pretty awesome, I love my rhino but my god is it slow compared to the rzr. There are things I
actually really like about polaris but some of there little quality thing just bother me I guess, they have gone leaps and bounds over what they used to be!

I dislike some of the things they bring to the table as well, but they are the ones stepping up the game and putting out new and exciting products. No brand is perfect, but just like with the 450, Honda sat around forever banking on their name and established reputation. Not saying it isn't a great machine, but they left it unchanged while so many others were making improvements to offer consumers more. Hey in these economic times they better be out there fighting for all the business they can get.

Just pointing out how big these things are getting. There fine for wide open spaces but it sucks to have one in front of you on a tight trail.
As for as Plolaris goes: To me (wrench by trade) they are HD of the ATV world, shiny and new, and always broken. Yes they have improved in the later years but just like HD they will cost you more to keep.

I agree with you guys 100% There are things you love about them but there are some quality control things that need to be addressed. If they work on quality and make them as dependable as a Honda. I wouldn't buy anything else. LOL

they are ground breaking, just the way cannondale changed the sport quad world, there are things cannondale did in 1999 and 2000 that companys today are just starting to use, i think polaris is in the same mold of coming up with the new ideas and leave it to honda and yamaha to bring up the rear and copy the idea 3 years later, after they see if there is a market for it

You're right. But with Polaris doing things like going to the KTM motors they will have much less problems of reliability, etc. by using a proven powerplant. I think their image from the past is hurting them as much as Honda's is helping them. I think eventually there will be a changing of the guard if Yamaha and Honda don't step up their game. Only time will tell.
