Hi all,
Just found this sight and am looking for some help. We are heading down to Florida for the month of February from NY to practice. Our daughter races in the New England ATV series. She races in the 70 and 90 classes.
We would be interested in finding tracks that are open during the week and that allow over nighting. We will be traveling in our RV pulling a trailer and would really love hook ups as well, but not necessary.
Also if you know of any races that might be going on as well we would definitely be interested in participating in them as well.
I really appreciate any help you all can give me, and so look forward to some warmer weather Smiley

Happy Holidays and Riding!!!

Check out the "Where to Ride" section.

Also check out Sunshine State Quad Series at www.SSQSA.com for a race schedule.

Also if you don't mind... Could you maybe bring some snow and cold Christmas air down here?  I would really appreciate it...

I miss New Hampshire.

You have got to go to the Motoplex. Check the Motoplex section of this forum for details.  Great place for kids.

This place will be having a huge cracker fest in feb. Mostly mud pits but te perimeter burms of the atv pits make for a huge track that encirles them.

Where in Florida? If it is in Central Florida, then Dade City MX or Bartow Motocross. Both tracks have web sites and the 2010 schedules are up. Also go to racing scene forum on this site.

Like Greenmachine said if you're gonna be in Central Florida Dade City will have your daughter racing against some of the fastest kids in the nation and that's not exagerating. There will be hundreds of quads racing here on points nights and the atmosphere is 2nd to none. Best place to race competition wise hands down in the State of Florida no matter what class. Only one race in February though and that's on the 27th. Jan 23rd and 30th are the 1st races of the season and then almost a month off til the 27th race. http://www.dadecitymx.com/

Dade City Motocross Thursday night practice , Sunshine Speedway Tuesday night quad only practice, Okeechobee Thundercross (great track), Motoplex, Waldo, A new national track is in Myakka City, And a new motocross track is opening in Lakeland , you can ALways practice at WALDO and Bartow as well These are the MX tracks that i know to be quad friendly. I would probably set up at waldo ( practice all day every day ) and i would hit the other tracks on the weekends.  Bithlo is OK but Loosely run and if you get hurt on  a back track ... you may be there for hours before you would be found.  Wink
