My favorite quad of all time would be the tecate4 250 made by kawi. 

Mud would be the grizzly 660 despite the belt intake in a horrible place.

4 stroke race bike would be the yfz 450

Dirt bike would be any KTM's

my favorite is my blaster it is true dirtbikes might be faster but quad can handle more terrain like deep water,and soft sand, and hill climbing cause most dirtbikes you have to balance
