I had a great time this weekend even though I had the expert class jitters. The staff did a great job getting the track ready and smoothly moving the program along. My hats off to the SDTA promoters for keeping it simple and fun, Ray, Shawn, and Ward are true flattrack racers. I look forward to seeing a few more track on the roster.
As many of you know my nephew Ricky had a pretty hard get off, I spoke with my sister Sunday and she said is is a little sore, a little shell shocked, but he is fine. Thank you for everyone who helped, and the phone calls to check on him. I think it will be a while before he rides again. ( He needs to get the darn training wheels off ). Any one that lives close to Cocoa beach and has a little extra time he sure could use some help learning. My sister is a single Mom with at least two jobs. She sure could use the help.
I would also like to thank the guys in the expert class for giving me the space to make my mistakes. I promise to learn more and be competitive soon.
I look forward to this weeks race at our home track Thunderbowl speedway.
