I'm trying to find an area close to me so i can do like quick day rides. I live in lake worth and all my areas i knew got closed. But i remember some saying they went out to royal palm, acreag, or lox. but can't remember. If some one can give me directions or an idea i'd like to go check it out.  Thanks.......

Yea, we already know all the secret areas.....Please stay off the public roads and help keep them "secret." Hint: The secret areas west of 180th will remain "secret" longer if trucks/trailers would stop parking along 180th.  Wink

PBSO 4 aren't you the one who had an accident in a wash out? If so how are you doing? If you are who I think you are I know you brother Rob.

Yes, that was me. While patrolling along a canal bank west of Jupiter Farms, I was going around a washout when the rest of the canal bank gave way. The ATV flipped, landing on top of me. I was transported to Jupiter ER with a possible broken leg. Turns out it was only a bruised ACL. I was very lucky....After enduring knee surgery and 30 days of no/light duty, I was finally returned to full duty yesterday. The ATV is still in the shop....

Yea, they mentioned that in the ASI course. I'm just glad I wasn't issued my new Grizzly before the crash. I was still on the Polaris. Thanks jwscroll....seems the Polaris got it worse than I did......

it sad that PBC pays $$$$$$ for a cop to ride a ATV looking to bust ATVER  but will have nothing to do with getting a ATVpark for us to ride   i bet your hospatail bills are costing the county $$$$$$$$$   TAX$$$$$$$  hard at work  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

500runner....Whats even sadder is the reason why cops have to be on an ATV to begin with. If people respected other people's property, Natural Areas and stayed off the public roadways, our unit wouldn't exist......As for an ATV Park, we lobbied for one, but the county commision hasn't approved one.

I think that was uncalled for. PBSO-4 is doing his job out there. If you like it or not that's the way it is. Also his comments on this board are to help us not to hurt us. He is just trying to keep everyone out of trouble. I don't know if you figured it out yet but, he is on our side. He wishes we had a place to ride so he didn't have to patrol on an ATV and could ride one for the fun of it like we do.

Well put TRX450R_Racer.  Couldn't have said it better myself.  Nice to see that I'm not the only one that realizes that PBSO is on our side.

Thanks TRX450, QT314......I do this on my own time to help the sport and keep riders informed on enforcement issues. ATV riding areas are a nationwide issue. Some areas are simply better suited for off-road use than others. Unfortunately, Palm Beach County's urban sprawl has eliminated most of the riding areas here. The only way to ride is to own a parcel of property, have permission to be on private property, or choose to ride illegally on posted property, natural areas and public roadways. Based on the volume of citizen complaints and ATV crashes/injuries, enforcement continues to increase. Folks, these are just the facts. I don't like them anymore than you do.

wish ghostlands was open to atv's...they have no trespassing signs up,but people still ride.i wish the land-owner would take a bulldozer and level it all, everyday i travel north on the turnpike i see that place..looks so tempting, but i was lucky and got a warning when i went there..not going where it's not legal..not worth losing my quads
