Great place to ride!!! Windrock in Oak Ridge is a little closer. Both are great places to ride.

OK I have been to both places to ride and I have both sport and utilities to ride. IMO neither places are any fun on the sport bikes to much rocks and mud for them. I think I like Brimstone a little better its more changeling with steeper climbs that make your azz hole pucker. Either way you cant go wrong they are both a blast to ride and the scenery is much better than Florida.

From what we have heard Brimstone is alot like Windrock.
Never been there, but been to Windrock about 10 times.
Trails are always changing with the weather and traffic.
Lots of mud and rocks better to ride 4x4. Good luck. We
will be going to Windrock right after Christmas. Was there
June we always stay a the orginal Windrock Camp Ground
on Hoskins Gap Road.

Remember Windrock has a speed limit and is expensive.
You could try Black Mountain in Harlan, KY (S.E. Kentucky) its free and is Awesome. Not only do they have a great setup with market trails on the mountain. But there are endless trails to ride on the daily group rides they have. You can ride your bike right into town and everyone there is super nice. We spent a entire day just going from trail to trail around Harlan and surrounding towns. You could spend a Month up there and it would never get boring. If you need I can recomend a great little house you can rent that has a Private Trail that connects to the main trail system.

Black Moutain is no longer free. Sad On park rides have a fee. Still reasonable but no longer free. If you hook up with the locales at the campfire, they will organize an off park ride for free.

Just started this year. Off park rides are the best!!! Wink Ridge Runners were not a part of the decision to charge a fee.
That was political.
