Local Pro/Am TT rider Jon Cabana is going to race at Black Ankle, NC this weekend. For those not aware, this area of North Carolina is home to some of the fastest Pro and Pro/Am TT riders in the country. Jon and his Yamaha will be going head to head with a load of fast guys on some seriously built Honda 450's Jon is a great kid and a very talented rider, so we wish him luck!

Did the luck wishing help? How did you do, John? Did you take some of their glory away?
Details, details!

Hello everybody,
We just arrived home tonight, and would like to thank everyone for your support!
We had a blast racing at Black Ankle, Lisa  ,Alicia ,and Jon all raced, and did pretty good.
Alicia got first in her class but ended up 4th or 5th overall they combined her class with some cobras, and some sick fast 80 mods with engines from dirtbikes.
Lisa got second in her class and third overall, they combined woman's,intermediate, and c classes together.
Jon won his class by default and got second overall they ran  Pro,  Open/Pro , Pro/Am,and Pro/Production classes together
Everyone we met was very nice, the track personnel are all really laid back,a little too laid back in some ways ,(very lax rules and start procedures)but overall it was a great racing experience.
the track layout was fun and fast,I'm talking as fast as our flattrack straight away speeds on over 2/3 of the track!
We also went to Robbins Ridge,Ted changed up the track from the last time we were there in Feb,he put in some option lanes and shortened the course a little ,we are going to plan another trip up there before the season ends hopefully.
IS EVERBODY ATTENDING THE RACES ON THE 22nd ?
WE HOPE TO SEE EVERYONE THERE !!!
