All, I was at a meeting yesterday having to do with a fencing project on US 41 close to turner river road. The state of Florida is proposing to give the Defenders of Wildlife, the same people that want to see us all dead, 9 Million dollars of our tax payer monies to build a fence to supposedly protect the cougar/panther. We dont have school books, teachers are getting laid off, police are getting laid of, the OHV fund get's raided and these people get 9 Million dollars. They got 600,000 to put a 7 displays and 1 power point presentation on why this is needed but the scary part is that the state of Florida has handed them control on an FDOT project!
You have the information what you choose to do with it is your business, but i think that enough is enough! Please e-mil or call your state Rep/Senator and ask that this be killed immediately. You can send your comments in to:
