Meeting in Collier county on Tuesday 5/26 about the ATV issue and SFWMD

All, there will be an item brought up again this Tuesday at 9:00 am in front of the Collier county commisioners. Florida DEP and SFWMD will both be giving their presentations and I cannot unfortunately make this. Please try to go if possible, we need to have representation there.

I will try to be there.
I suspect it has to do with a few more areas proposed by SFWM. The county folks I talked to believe it is "wetlands" and permitting for a park would not fly.
The old jetport is still a possibility.

We really need to have some representation there, unfortunately Brian and I will both be out of town. BY the way it's perfectly legal to ride by the Jetport as long as you dont get into the Big Cypress area. At the last meeting that i went, SFWMD told the Collier commissioner that permitting the jetport would be a "challenge"...

All, the meeting has been postponed. I had asked the county to please reschedule this because i could not attend and that i had proof of the state blaming a certain agency and an e-mail from that agency totally denying this. Please stay tuned, we are making an inroad into this....Thxs Rick
