I've been hearing about an ATV park in Polk County for the last few years and nothing. I thought that the Triple Canopy was supposed to be surely getting ready to open up but haven't heard anything about it in months. Now there's a story about a ATV park being considered again. Based on the story it'll be a few years before it happens. Seems like we go through this every couple of years . http://www.baynews9.com/VideoPlayer/?ATV_Park_Tour_518

We emailed the reporter to find out who to contact to offer support. Here is her reply. The Polk County Commission approved the land purchase today. They say it will still be about 3-years before it opens. Commissioner Randy Wilkinson has worked on this for years. Here's his email: randywilkinson@polk-county.netHope that helps! Melissa

I think we are talking two different parks. The bird is singing about the Triple Canopy park. The video refers to the Mosaic property that Polk Co is working to set up. We do need to get behind the Mosaic deal, but look for Triple Canopy to open a great riding complex in the next couple months.
