I went on a 1 week cruise on NCL to work on the boat converting it from Coke to Pepsi.

First we get on late sunday, so I was not able to start early as planned
OK we start to work and I tell the guys that went with me I am ready to stay up as late as possible to do as much as we can the 1st day, we stop around 3am Monday morning. When we go to get each of our luggages it along with 7 other crew members was loaded in the other boat going to EAST Caribbean. We were pissed needless to say, and we would get them on Thursday at Cozumel.
We finished our work in a 1 1/2 days so we had 5 1/2 days to have fun that went well. Pepsi paid for cloths for us 3 and all NCL had was Nautica so that was good.
Monday some women broke her arm and her blood pressure was not able to stay under control, so she was airlifted off the ship, Now this was bad but not me. If you have not seen a USCG airlift someone out let me tell you it was Freekn impressive. The best way I can put it, The ship DOES NOT STOP it stays at speed. The chopper gets along side of it but it is harder than that. The ship is going west but the wind is coming from the NNW the chopper gets the speed just right turns into the wind, Now it is fling at ship speed but sideways AWESOME the pilot then slides in between the exhaust stacks 40-50 feet above the pool deck. NOW with a STEADY hand he is fling sideways at ship speed between the center of the ship. 1 of the crew comes down the cable with a cradle puts the husband in the cradle and lift him up, then brings it back down gets the women in and lifts her with the guy and fly off. I have to say USCG pilots and crew showed me that they need and should get all the respect they get and it is not enough.
Then Tuesday our first stop in Rouatan we get on a taxi it gets a flat, but 4-5 cars stopped right away to help or offer us rides back to ship so we would not get back late.
Wednesday was good
Thursday we get our bags in Cozumel but 1 of the guys with me was opened and $250 missing. I get my son a necklace with a shark tooth, when I get back to ship the metal detector goes off I take the necklace out of my shirt pocket put it thru and move on. When I get to my room I find out I dropped and lost my $322.
Saturday about 3am some idiot jumps off the boat committing suicide. But USCG and all the boats in the area have to look for him. By the time USCG called off the search and we got to private island Saturday it was 2pm.
Now Saturday I buy a Raymond Weil watch on the boat it goes for $895 but with an employee discount and a crew discount I get it for $573. If you do the math $895-$573 you get what I lose Thursday $322 FREEKY anyways I only have a picture of USCG searching for the guy but I will be getting pics of the rescue I emailed a guy that gave me his email so he can send me the pics he took. I will post them as soon as I get them
