Believe it or not, you don't need brakes to pass.

LOL, I lost my title some time ago. I am going to try and contact the owner and get a new one ASAP so I can get one.

We must Band together or be Banned altogether.

A Trail Bike is no good without Trails."

Well said.

Anyone want to plan an informal meeting for those of us concerned and wanting to do something? This includes you too 4x4Matt.

No set outline. Just a meeting to share thoughts and ideas and maybe begin to get something organized. It's got to start somewhere.

Because we are all so spread out, at first a web site with a forum that is not linked to any of the sites we use. A neutral forum. A moderator that "Removes" all non-topic related posts. No funny business. As Thomas Jefferson said "I never considered a difference of opinion in politics, in religion, in philosophy, as cause for withdrawing from a friend." In our case "friend" means "a fellow ATV enthusiast".

I would volunteer in any capacity I can.

Well?

Ok, if you build it they will come?

http://groups.google.com/group/alt.atv/topics

This is the easiest way to access the usenet, the last wild west on the internet where censorship does not exist is through google. The preferred way to access it is through outlook and your ISP server, but google works. I posted a few test messages there to see if anyone can find them.

I have also tried to fix up a forum.

http://floridaoffroad.tk/

You, AO and a few others would make great mods on this completly UNCENSORED forum. At least we can post naked pics. lol

I grew up in Bear Island unit on Turner River Road but just havnt got my sticker on my RZR.I did call and I am still in the computer so it should be fairly painless.Only thing is I will be needing like 5 ORV permits.

The preserve gets closed for May - July. Only property owners allowed inside the preserve at that time. And then, only to travel directly to their camp and out. No riding around.

I've responded to the threads on Google. Ready to go man!

I am about to move my rear 26x12x12's to the front of my bike. I am concerned the front wheels aren't wide enough, but hopefully it will make them a bit taller so the new 27" gators I have for the rear line up perfectly.  Wink

So, yes I do believe I will be ready. I may just have a front locker as well. I do have a reputation to uphold.

I am signed up as well. But I will continue to ride in questionable areas and I promise I will not disturb the Tortoise, or the Blue Peckered Florida Fich. But I will take a shot at a stinky old hog with my new Sig Sauer P250 in the 40 Cal mode. The 9MM shot just does not work as well in the P250.

At the time I looked when I wrote this there were 1508 views lets see if we can do more than just read. I know it is not easy but only nothing can come out of nothing. We at atvmiaxtreme may be planning a talk if any of you are willing and able to come when it is planned you are welcome in my book.

I was there this morning and told the people out there about the FWC writing tickets and giving people summons to appear in court for trespassing. They were appreciative for the info. I will be back between 2-3pm  I hope to meet with some people out there. I will be along  s.w.40st  between 157ave and 162 ave next to the power station.
