Where is the Alapha located? And is it worth the trip from Polk County?

It's about 15 min north of I-10 off I-75. It's worth the drive no matter where you are. Best ringing in the state!

Hmm..first time I've heard of it.

Sounds like a good half way point between me and Durhamtown.

Does Alapaha have camping?

Do you have any more specific directions or now of a website?

Please let me know.

A lot of people haven't. You can camp there right in the river bed but there aren't any campsites you just gotta make your own. Go to my website and you can find some pictures from there last summer. Just as soon as the river dries up and it is rideable everyone will know cause it will be all over the group rides section. Just keep an eye out.

Where is the Alapha located? And is it worth the trip from Polk County?

there is nothing like it in florida. it will wear you out. river crossings, lime stone out croppings, sugar sand, haul azz stretches serious hill climbs and if you make it to the suwannee river its a great place to swim. be careful, it can and will try to hurt you.

Harley Honey and Myself will vouch for the hurting part, I am sure Yunt2 can say the same. nice place to ride all and all.

I went there last Wednesday, July 5Th. Water is still flowing under ther bridge. Probably 15 to 20 feet deep. It was not as high as where we parked under the bridge but about 3 feet down the embankment. It may be up to the enbankment now since the hurricane.

With all the rain from the storms in NE FL and South GA may not be able to ride there this year. Plus another one on its way.
