BSTR is another club reaching out to the future of quad racing by including the pee-wee racers. Gatorback is a neat place to race and can be humbling, if not scary for some.
With the GNCC a week after that, you can bet there will be many pros and many new racers in your class. The people who come down from other states may not know the simple rules they need to follow to keep from being dq'd. If you see a new person and see they may need some help getting compliant, please help them out.
Just a reminder:
In an effort to keep the noise levels down, the spark arrestor and db level rule will be checked. It has been announced that at the race after Gatorback, the FTR benefit race, they are taking a 0 tolerance attitude toward non-compliant machines. No comply-no race.
Seems harsh, but I have been to the races and see more and more folks blatently ignoring the noise issue and this is the result. Many of you who have loud exhaust could do without it because I have seen you and it doesn't make you go any faster. You are still slow even with the loud exhaust. LOL!
When the hammer comes down, there will be many tears shed
and FTR will be blamed.
