Round 2 of the Thunderbowl Speedway "King of The Dirt Track" TT & Flat Track points series is Saturday, 2/14/09

Gates Open @ 9am
TT Racing @ Noon

Flat Track Practice & Racing to follow TT Racing, Approx. 4pm

For those of you that missed round 1. Was quite an entertaining day/evening. From the acrobatic skillz of Brady to the water events from Spahn and another quad to the extra class of brakeless rigid framed BSA's during the flat track.

Thanks to all that attended round 1.......was a great crowd

Just talked to Rick and Brady. No rain at the track. Races are on schedule. Rain is suppose to stay to the north.

Hey what about the motorcycle flattrack Pro Class? Looked to me like that Spradlin kid had those guys covered.

Kurt Brady was styling all night long too.

Besides Rick Dugan and myself..........did anyone see the MOVE that Kurt Brady put on the guy in second going into turn 3..........MAN.....Kurt came from 3 or 4 bike lengths back and stuck it inside and DEEP into turn 3 to make the pass and never touched the guy in second. From where I was standing.........it looked dam close

Rick was all excited because Kurt is a fellow JARHEAD...........like that had anything to do with it!!!!

  Not sure if you are referring to the TT or Flat track but Jon is well deserving to race the Open/Pro FT class. He had us covered and went on to win the big money. Not only does he carry himself well off the track but on the track he is a great addition to the Open quad class.

Thanks guys, I get lucky every once in a while. But seriously, I had alot of fun racin with everybody, i was up against some tough competition and can't wait to do it again.

And unfortunately i won the wrong way in the flattrack race, if Dave wouldn't have thrown his chain I'd be sitting in 2nd. I'm not complaining, I mean its racing, but I would rather "RACE" then win because of a problem.
It was a great night, the racing was fast, clean, and I dint recall any injuries, and i think everyone had a good time.

Yeah I was watching that race. Was an excellent bit of riding. It looked as though they would get into each other! Really was the move of the night!

Jon and Dave, you both were hooking up in that race. I was watching the video my wife recorded of the Pro-Am class. Dave, you just checked out from all of us. Jon, that was some awsome racing, you were on a rail. I would try to post the video but you all might get motion sickness from my wife's filming It was a great time, can't wait until round 3
