Hello everyone. We have heard that there are a few rumors going around that Muddi Gras is cancelled, however we want to inform you
that Muddi Gras is NOT CANCELLED and is still on for this weekend. Also there are a few things that I would like to clarify about or rules.

Gates will be opening at 12pm on Friday February 6th for both trucks and ATV's. We will ONLY be selling WEEKEND passes on this day.
Weekend passes and daily passes will be available on Saturday February 7th.
Gates will close at 9pm.
Campfires are allowed as long as they are in a fireproof container and kept contained.
No "racing type" ATV's will be permitted. However if you have a regular sportsman like 2wd ATV, that is acceptable.
We will have hot showers available.
We will have 4 food vendors and 20 other vendors onsite for mostly all you needs.

Please visit our website for more information. www.muddigras.com or if you have any more questions you can email us
at muddigras@gmail.com or call us at 407-892-7928

Thank you and we look foward to seeing!

Why no racing type ATVs, and what do you consider racing type? Are you talking about alcohol Banshees with wheelie bars and paddles or are you talking about most sport bikes that might have a pipe,K&N filter, and jetted?

That's pretty vague. I have a DS650 that has some performance upgrades, however I ride in on the trails and sometimes I go in mud with it.Does that mean it will be allowed?

I think its a good rule I like to ride both sport and 4x4 there is a place for each you dont see 4x4 on motocross tracks. At mission mud 2 weeks ago it was crazy with all sport quads running around flying around blind corners made it very dangerous. So I could see where it would be a problem and a liability.

I can understand it to an extent but what about the kid that only has a 2wd that loves to take it in the mud? He's out of luck.My brother had a Honda 300 at one point and that thing went practically anywhere.I posted pictures of it on here long ago. He could sink it to the seat then rock it side to side and get out of almost anything. You couldn't kill that thing. Oh well, rules are rules. I might still go just to watch.

Please excuse us for having to single out the 2wd ATV’s but during our last two events the only problems and injuries that have occurred were caused by the “sport/racing” ATV’s. They have been known to race and ride through the event at high speeds which has caused injuries not only to the operators but to others as well. We do have officers onsite watching for these bikes however there are so many people and so many other things going on we feel their time would be more valuable if it were spent preventing accidents in and around the mudhole rather than chasing down speeders.  Please understand this is a mud event, not a time for racing. You are welcome to bring your 2wd ATV but please understand if you are caught driving over 15mph anywhere on the property besides the mudhole you will be issued a ticket and escorted off the property by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department. Thank you and we hope you understand the reason for this rule.

i agree 100% with you,  i do have a 2wd atv  bright orange and cut fenders to make it look really fast(but its not)   i am working on gettting my 4x4 (pink monster) finshed but rear end not working right.  Thnak you for letting 2wd on because now my group of 30   people (all of them in  4x4 trucks  and quads) will be out there havin   fun   i am the only one on a 2wd.

I ride with renegade 800s and go through everything they do out at holopaw.  I did just fine at the first muddigras with stock crappy tires.  Its more of a sandy water mix then mud out there, with the exception of a few holes.
Glad to see I wasn't alone on this subject.  I have been emailing and talking to muddigras for the last two weeks.
Glad to see it has been resolved.  Enforcing the speed limit law is a very good idea  Wink
may effect more then just the race quads though  Drive
I have a "race quad" or i would been seen as one and it does piss me off that a few retards racing around is ruining a fun event for my type of quad.  Just a matter of time till a large big bore 4x4 gets out of hand though- then what would be next?  As long as the law is doing their part on enforcing rules then I think we all can get along just fine.
