TOTALLY WRONG and not true. There are no laws or regulations on the books in Florida, or Federally for that matter that mandate you to follow the manufacturers recommendations. If that were the case, then why did they not arrest or ticket us last weekend when we had several kids under 16 on Raptor 700's and Outlander 800's in the Ocala National Forest? They stopped us to check for the ATV certifications on the kids, but that was all that was discussed.
Believe what you want, but please don't stop going to the National Forest based on a phone call a buddy made. If they cannot show it to you in a legal format, it's just not true.
