My Babies got 38 watts of ear poppin power. It goes to one of those 6' tall speakers where only 2 out of the 4 speakers work in it.The other speaker is one from a car oval 6x9 I believe packed in an old seat cushion with duct tape for that thumpin base.

HA! Now that's what I am talking about....
We got some on my ride too, just need to get pics of it, don't really want to even look at my bike right now, since she aint running
But absolutely, that Bushwacker, that surely brings back memories... Those big ole 8 tracks were something... Can't believe you still have that, which is really awesome!

Pioneer Head unit
4- 5 1/4" Pioneer door speakers
1-10 inch Pioneer Premier sub
1-800 Watt Pioneer amp.
Nothing insane, sounds great though. I wasn't going for the hood rat thumper make your license plate rattle system. Thats stupid, can't enjoy the music that way.

yeah i hate that they get so much bass everything flexes and rattles. i do have a lot of power but the subs will be tuned for rock/metal type music so its not a noisy cant hear sh*t but a clean full sound. I was wondering if i should get a small amp for the other speakers. The head unit has a built in 22watt RMS amp, the guy that had the stuff before said he didnt use a amp and they sounded fine but the RMS on the highs is 45watts an the mids are 100 watt and the low is 800 watts lol but the subs only have a 500 watt amp so they wont ever blow and they wont be stupid loud. The speakers are 4 ohms which means they i think make less wattage because of more resistance.

Yeah I hear ya man. If you want a more crisp, detailed sound go with a small amp to power your door speaks, I would also throw in a passive crossover to separate the highs and lows. It works wonders. Especially for rock. Most car audio is 2-4 ohms.

i dont know a whole lot about speakers and stuff I know watts, ohms, amps and what they do and stuff but x-overs i see that on my amp for the subs it has a thing to adjust the Hz. dont know what it all does. the door speakers are only 45watts RMS 4ohm so i dont want an amp thats too much for them. the head unit having a 22watt RMS amp how would i figure out what it ends up at the speakers being 4 ohm? can you help me out i dont know what a cross over is or what it does
