1997 300ex chain

Can anyone tell me how to tighten the chain on a 1997 honda 300ex.......

1. Locate bearing carrier clamp bolts on very back end of swing arm-loosen but do not remove
2. Right beside your rear sprocket you should notice 3-4 slots (if you just got done with the bolts, it will be directly to your left)
3. Get a big screwdriver and use the slots to turn the bearing carrier, do this until you reach desired tension
