Ok, after the last few games, I truly think that there is no team in the land that would beat them. They blew out LSU, UGA, and absolutely slaughtered UK. The defense is incredible. The offense is unstoppable. The special teams even plays great. Tonights game was awesome! Im lookin forward to the rest of the season. Go Gators!

You thought that before OLE MISS too. Their good but you may want to wait a few more games before anointing them. Signed  "Sabastian" Grin

Theyre toughest stretch is over. Have you watched them since the Arkansas game? Its a whole different team. Look at what theyve done to all these top teams. Vandy and SC are our toughest 2 left. And FSU might sneak up on them. But, if they play like they have been playing, you cant honestly say that theyre not #1. Im not worried bout Bama, we control that through the SEC game. Penn State, they are very overrated. Wow, they beat a mediocre OSU. Woohoo. OU, theyre not near as good as they are rated. USC, well, I wont go there. 2nd most overrated team in college football. Texas Tech will lose with their next stretch. Its all up to the Gators to keep playing good. If they win out in style, they ought to be Miami bound! Go Gators!

BTW, Im sorry for your terrible season down there in Miami.

Well football is wierd for me in general. Im a florida state fan but Tim Tebow went to my high school so its like  Huh. I belive that once again the hardest thing on Florida's scheduel is the BCS. They cant stand that this SEC team is whomping everybody they play and they cant keep sticking overrated teams that play nobodys in every game except 2 teams the whole season in the national championship. USC plays like stanford and teams like that most of the time and they have like 2 hard games. Penn State is even worse. Omg you beat ohio state you want a cookie? Other then the loss to ole miss, you guys have beat every other team by 24points or better. Even though im a florida state fan (a ticked one at that, if you saw the GT game you know what i mean) i still think you guys are gettin screwed.

Just looked at the AP 25 and its Alabama Texastech Penn florida and texas. I mean really. You guys beat the #6 team that everybody had going all the way this year by 39 and Texas Tech beats texas by a last second touch down. Should read Alabama Florida Texas Tech and Penn state. You guys got jumped during your by week why shouldnt they? Like I dont want to see a playoff system because that would basically take the fun out of college football. But the current system is stupid. Just because your team was amazing 30 years ago and now doesnt play anybody the entire season doesnt mean you get ranked ahead of good teams that play crazy hard teams week in and out and beat them to a pulp.

With the exception of your comment about the BCS being worthless (we need a playoff), you are way off base.  Florida lost to Ole Miss and that's inexcusable in my book.  Especially if there are teams out there who are undefeated.  I cannot fathom how you can't put Texas Tech up top or atleast top 3.  They just beat Texas, who just beat, in order, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Oklahoma State.  Have you seen how good the Big 12 is this year ?  That is just a ridiculous stretch of games.  Texas Tech is definitely for real and Crabtree is a freak.

As far as Penn State, its hard to say until they play some real competition.  I think they are a great team and schedules are made far in advance so don't fault them because of their schedule.

Alabama vs. Florida for the SEC title most likely.  I do see Florida beating them.

Can't wait to see how this plays out.  College football is the chit.

A playoff would ruin college football plain and simple. The reason its so exciting every year is because every game matters. If you make it a playoff system then you have teams like Penn State or Ohio State or USC that could just beat the easy teams and just go ahead and loose the tough ones and still have a shot at making it to the national championship. Thats pure crap. So you have a team like florida that has a brutal scheduel every year that has to play just to keep up with teams that play nobody for weeks on end.

As for florida loosing that one game...I mean ok it was a 1 point loss to a pretty good team. Ole miss although not high up in the SEC is still better then over half of the teams in the game. I find it easer to write off a 1 point loss to a good team when they beat everybody else by 24 points. Espically when you consider the caliber of teams they play every single week. That should without a doubt rank them above penn state or anybody else besides alabama.

LSU, UGA, Florida, Bama, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt would all beat them. as for texas and texas tech playing in the big 12, while the big 12 is far better than the big 10 and the pac 10, its still inferior to the SEC by far. if we had a playoff, you would see. but since theres no playoff, theres no way of proving that.  Undecided

A playoff would ruin college football !?!?!?    I'm not sure what you are smoking or what you are watching every Saturday but the BCS is what has ruined college football to a degree.....and if you don't think so then why did we have a BCS champion and an AP champion a few years back.  The reason for a playoff is simple......with schools only being allowed to offer so many scholarships, the talent is getting more evenly spread across the nation and it is why every Saturday any team has a chance to win (within reason).  Yall are also forgetting one key thing......MOMENTUM.....the best team at the beginning of the year might not be the best team at the end of the year.....so many times the past few years the best team at the end of the year wasn't in the BCS Title Game.....thats why Ohio State has been in it the past two and gotten beat both times.

Yes...the past decade or so the SEC has been by far the toughest conference but this year the Big 12 is the best conference......atleast if you only take the top 4 or 5 teams.  I'll give it to  Florida and Bama but LSU and Georgia are overrated.  Kentucky and Tennessee suck, South Carolina isn't consistent, Auburn is a mess, and yall are giving Ole Miss way too much credit.  Florida got lazy and complacent in that game and got what they deserved.  And if Texas Tech and Penn State run the table, Florida will most likely not be in the title game, even if they beat Bama and win the SEC.

i dont think that texas tech will run the table. they have a very hard schedule coming up. they didnt play all that good against texas. texas didnt look like texas either. i believe if texas had that game again that they would win by 30 or more. maybe im wrong but neither team looked very good. both offenses sucked and there were mis-tackles and just mistakes all over.

Bad games happen.....but in the end....a win is a win

They may lose against Oklahoma State.....we shall see

Gators had a "bad game" against Ole Miss but they didnt' come out with the win

Miami had a terrible season but still have more NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS than the Gators. Furthermore you guys struggled first half versus all of our rookies. You lucky you dont play the Canes no more for a couple of years. Next year is the Canes year just sit down drink a beer and watch. GO CANES.

Couldn't agree with you more......they are very young and quite impressive already.

GO CANES !!

do you think Marve or Harris is the future star at QB ??

I like the hometown boy Harris. I wish Randy would just start him 1 game so we can see the difference. I think Marve has a rocket but doesnt have the brain to go with it. Harris has the spaghetti arm but has the brain to go with it. I like Harris for next year full time starter. Keep watching the games we're in the ACC championship race.

I definitely think Harris is the future star.  Unless Marve gets smarter and stops trying to do too much with the ball, Harris should be the future.  He reminds me of Dorsey.....intelligent, great decisions, accurate passing, great poise

so you won ONE year.....whoopie.....so when people talk about the Yankees or the Lakers or the Celtics....they never talk about their past titles....I do remember one game yall didn't win this year.....Ole Miss.....pathetic given how good the Gators are this year.

By the way, beating Alabama in the SEC title game doesn't guarantee a national title spot.

Ok i got a new one for you Mr. Gator. How much times has the CANES stomped on the Gators? This year for the CANES is a rebuilding year just like the DOLPHINS. The Gators are in there prime and still might not make it to the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP game. I will admit the Gators are one of the top teams this year and the CANES are not but we are both fighting for our division championship game. Furthermore you lost to Ole Miss a non ranked team. We atleast lost to ranked teams meaning there somewhat good. This year the Gators are the better team. Next year when our rookies grow hair in there nuts its gonna get crazy! FOX17 where you at Mr. Gator?

If they would have not lost to that unranked team they probably be ranked #1. Im glad they lost though like that it makes harder to get to the National Championship. The Gators are on the same mission the CANES are in, to win there division. GO CANES.
