i went out there lastnight to have a small fire wiht my gf as a "romantic night" on the way out there we took the north side to the pumphouse and saw a small group of deer, we arrived at the pumphouse and made our fire, got eaten alive so we got in her truck fired up the ac and KISS COUNTRY and cuddled, watching the distant ligthning storm, anyways we took the southside back east and spotted more deer, here are the best pics we got

we counted some 80 deer from the pumphouse to the parking lot, so wet out there thats probaly why they are on the levee, but it was cool to see so many deer, only 3 bucks tho, small 3 pointers

All the everglades conservation areas are closed due to highwater and the deer you seen on the levee are avoiding the highwater.
I believe the levee is closed as well.

yea thought it would bring back memories for us, when i was sitting at the pump house i was just remembering the parties and riding convoys we had out there, then just sitting back by a fire and relaxing the night away, but i wasnt the least worried about FWC there was a storm on the horizon, and from my expericence very rarely is FWC out there when you hear thunder
