1st car I bought.  1994 Honda Civic LX sedan.  Needs some paint, and I want real wheels and a new stereo.  Anyone know a good place to get it painted?  I read several reviews on Maaco and they all said dont go there they do terrible jobs drip spots and stuff.  I was considering the DIY paint job but sanding a car is not that easy its time consuming.

got a toyota highlander that I just bought a hitch for and I got it installed yesterday.  A truck would have cost me a lot more and it wouldnt get as good of gas milage and I would still need a hitch on that because riding alone is boring at times.  Cuts down the cost too taking a trailer so you split the gas cost in half.

nah i dont want an exhaust or intake, the motor is what it is i'm not going to get much more HP by modding it and its dumb to do performance mods to an automatic sedan.  And yes it really needs a paint job.  The paint is faded, small rust spots, chips taken out.  Wheels did you see the picture? I really hate hubs so I am looking to get atleast the Honda civic EX/SI wheels.  The stereo system is pretty crappy.  Deffinately needs new speakers and I atleast want a CD player.

If you have a local community collage or tec school that does body work go and talk tothe prof . Pay for materials and offer a few hundred more. Also, offer pizza lunch day of pick up. Have had many friends that have done this.

Good luck with it. I remember those days. My first car was a 73 Firebird. Man I miss that car.
