wear your seatbelt!

me and my sis both almost just died but we had ours on. someone was doin 125mph in a tundra and clipped my fromt quarter panel trying to fit between me and someone else and both trucks flipped and rolled. we were fine cause we were wearing seatbelts. the 2 in the tundra are dying in the hospital after being thrown 35 and 40 yards from their truck. their tundra rolled but the cab was still in good shape. if they had had the belts on, they would have been there to be shot by me instead of dying like they are. the firemedics said both had very little chance of survival. they called 2 choppers. not good. there would have been 4 people walking and not only 2 if they had buckled up.

Wow, You 2 are very lucky that you weren't hurt. Might want to send a thank You to the man upstairs.

I am glad that you both are safe, that you had the sense to be wearing seatbelts. Besides wearing seatbelts it should be considered to not drive at a speed you cannot control. God bless the Tundra people and thier families.

I was wearing the seatbelt when I got into my accident. I walked away with two blown out disc in my neck, two herniated disc in my lower back, torn ligaments both wrist and left elbow.
I got out to give him an azz whoopin and noticed his head smashed on the window from not having his belt on.
Hope your OK with no injuries. Can't feel responsible for the other party, it wasn't your fault.
Prayers to their families though.

i was fixin to go exchange some words too until i saw them laying way away from the truck on the ground. the guy that went the farthest was very close to 40yds from the truck. it threw him under a chain link fence. and the other guy hit a trailer and landed proped up beside it. and i dont feel at all responsible. if they live i hope the driver goes to jail for a very long time. he was going nearly 3 times the speed limit. i feel bad for the passenger. there was nothing he could do.

Good to hear you two walked out of it.
Prayers going out to the dummies families.
I was driving from Gainesville to Tampa a few years back and two idiots came by in a Acura doing at least 100mph.
They would go into the emergency lanes on both sides to pass others. Well they lost it going from the outside emergency lane trying to get between two others. The back slid around and the car rolled, throwing them both. We came upon all this about five miles down the road after they passed us. They already had blankets over them.
Seat belts do save.

Lucky! I hope you guys got checked out by the Dr. Even when your wearing your seatbelt, there are many collisions inside your body that happen when you get in an accident. Just take it easy and be safe
Sorry to hear about the whole thing.

Yea, it's hard for me to say anything without seeing the vehicle, but we ALWAYS try to get people to go after a rollover...even belted in. Most of the time, you will start to feel the pain/soreness days later, so you wouldn't know any internal injuries you may have. I highly reccomend it to every rollover...it's just a precaution. You could have a small bleed in your spleen, or a ruptured bowel...you never know!
but I'm glad to hear you made it out ok! Rollovers either are very bad or A-OK.

Wow Im sorry to hear this Brandon. I hope you and your sis recover any little injuries you might have and hopefully you wont have to sell the quad. Is insurance going to help you out with the truck?

i paid cash and didnt have full coverage cause it wasnt worth much. the insurance company wouldnt give me anything for it if i did have full coverage. a few hundred bucks maybe. their insurance company better help. the cop said that there were insurance cards in the truck so he thinks that they had it. it was a 03 tundra too so they probably had it financed.
