I think he should but that is up to him.

I have said this before but I would gladly not post political discussion here if others did the same but after a while the republicans on this site feel the need to attack the other party so as to try to hide the fact that they have enabled the president to screw this country up.

I am sorry that you feel that way...  And perhaps he should.  And perhaps I should just pull myself from this site until after the election.  I honestly in my heart and soul not be moved to post on this election, and not to express what I see, what I read, and what I hear. We are such a time, whereas the entire stock market could crash, we have ppl knocking on our doors to put an end to life as we know it.  it can be said that this is not the place to post about this, and perhaps you are right, but at the same time, if this Country does not make informed decissions, we are all screwed.  And riding ATV's maybe the least of our worries.

Yes, I love to ride my ATV, that is very important to me.  But the Country that we leave behind for my son, at this point is more important.

But yes you are right, this is not the place for political debate, though I feel in my heart it is so important, and that people know the truth, or at the least, question themselves, and that includes myself.

So with this, I will from this point on pull myself, yet again, from this site.....

Bushwacker, I think you're right, despite my being one of the offenders. It's just very difficult for me to ignore the senseless rage, blame and hatred being drawn along political party lines. I just can't let people tell lies long-enough to become the truth, so I get sucked in to the debates. The results of the upcoming election will not render a Political Discussion topic/board obsolete, no matter who wins.

I cant find it in my heart to believe that this Country is so far gone, that what we feel as a "people" don't matter, and I know for atleast a few, I am not alone, perhaps it is the troops that fight for this Nation each and everyday.  Sure people will say it we shoudn't be there, but our troops are.  The signed up for this, they enlisted for this, so they too must still believe this is a Country worth dying for.  I also believe, and will continue to believe that this is the greatest Country on Earth.

It's okay for us to come on this site and go back forth about stupid BS, but it is not okay for us to debate about what we think is right or wrong for this Country.  Yes, I love riding my ATV as much as anyone else, I love to hit the mud, and take me away from it all.  But I also know it is because I live in this Country, that I have the privledge and the right to do that, yet it may be on land that I had to buy, but good God there are people in this world that don't have running water.  This is an Awesome Country that we live in.  And I will NEVER believe that she has gone to hell in a hand basket.

To those I have offended by my beliefs, I am sorry.  But you know what, we are STIll in a Country that gives us those rights.  And to whom I call Fishy, honestly no hard feelings, I appreciate the fact that you stand up for what you believe in, I really do.

Again, I am to the point, that I hesititate what I post, will it be offensive, and good God if I bring one more thing up about the elections, they are going to be so sick of it.  I just want people to at the least consider what I learn, what I read, and I have come to know.  That is all.  i value each and everyones opinion.

And now I find myself back where I was about a year ago.  Offending people that I honeslty hold dear, though I have met very few of.  I am back how I felt being the freakin monkey in the middle.  Honestly it is my posting Bushwacker, Lord knows, I surely added fuel to the fire.  But I can not apologize for posting what I truly feel a fire in my heart for. But again, if I offended, I am sorry....

One comes on the boards to share how the feel, what they believe, the good and bad.  But somehow again, I feel that this is where I should not be.  Perhaps my political beliefs are way too strong, but I will never say that makes me a bad person.  It just makes me someone with a heck of alot of heart for this Country.  But it make no sense to go on, and on, when all it does is cause strife.

So all I can say...  That's all Folks...

But please try and remember what is important, don't just listen, take time to research and learn...  Because atleast for now, we still have a say....

This crap only happens every 4 years. I think if you don't like political threads just don't click on them. I never post in them because I don't feel a need to. I have my views like everyone else. I choose not to voice them for 2 reasons. One being like most everyone else you're not going to change my thoughts by what is written on here. Two why bother because of reason one. I feel the political threads are fine as long as the personal attacks don't arise.

The thing I like the least on the political "discussions" is the throwdown method.  "If you don't think the way I do, then you must be ignorant" seems to be the debate style of some posters.  A poor debate strategy which is only making them look weak.   I like the fact that our country gives me the honor of voting.  I give thanks to the men and women throughout history that have secured that privilege for me.  I like that the honor of voting contains the ability of making my own decision without having to explain or apologize for my choice.

Personally, I start hobbies like riding to get away from the daily grind of life.  Why bring politics into something we enjoy?   Wink

I agree 100%. I think some people enjoy arguing on the Internet.

I wouldn't deem that inappropriate.  Actually, you caught me right as I was heading out to the nearby Fairvilla video for my lunch hr.-they've got the best cards.  We really are getting each other now.  It's funny how a mod has brought us so close in such a short amount of time.  Hug
