The War Against Terror - The Axis of Evil...
«

September 20, 2008, 12:48:20 PM »
I keep reading, and keep hearing people putting down this President and this Country for going into Iraq. So I decided to start a post just on that. The evidence is clear of the link between Al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein.
Lets first look at the facts, as well all know...
9-11 2,976 people died on that one day, of that 2,740 Americans, of that 8 of them were children.
To see the link between Saddam Hussein/Iraq and Al Queda you need to go back to the 1st bombing of the World Trade Centers, in 1993, where 6 were killed and 1042, were injured. A man by the name of Yousef, was charged and convicted of carrying this attack out (1993). There were various links to Iraq,
such as Yousef arriving to US on a Iraqi Passport
, made some
40 calls to Baghdad
before the attack. Another guy,
Yasim, an Iraqi, actually fled back to Iraqi after the attack
. Wheres the al-Qaeda link...
Yousef was the nephew of Mohammed Atta, and for those of you who don't know, he was the mastermind of 9-11
.... Oh yea, here's another so-called coincidence,
1993 bombing happened on the 2nd Aniversary of the liberation o Kuwait from Iraq (Gulf War)....
hmmmm smells kind of fishy to me...
In CIAS finding in 2003 there secret memo's uncovered between Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden.
Also found from CIA, and other sources, that bin Laden and Hussein had "opperational relationship" from early 1990's till 2003
. Ths included making of weapons of mass destruction (including, but not limited to anthrax), financial support for terrorist attachs, al Qaeda training camps and safe haven in Iraq. Also when we invaded Iraq, we also found
further evidence that directly linked Iraq providind financial support to Mohammed Atta
.
The Begining of a Relationship....
1990 bin Laden met w/Iragi goverment just before the Gulf War. From that bin Laden was granted to expand al-Qaeda through Iraq.
It was then w/al-Qaeda's connections w/Afganistan, to us it to facilate transport weapson to Iraq, and in return Irag provided al-Qaeda w/ training and members....
Since that time, bin Laden & Iraq had several ties, way too many to go into here. Such as:
*
Iraq sending some 3000 people to Afganistan to the al-queda training camps
;
*
Iraq providing
serious
financial support to al-Queda
;
*Numerous, and mean numerous,
meetings between Saddam Hussein and bin Laden
;
*When
US in 1998, came after bin-Laden, Iraq offered safe haven in Iraq
. (This further esculated to the conflict between Iraq and the US)
*
Afghan sources/documents indicate that bin Laden are "in contract" w/Iraq
;
*
Afgan consular knew of the Irag connections w/bin-ladens group
;
*
Iraq provided logistical support for terrorist attacks
;
Some of Saddam's documents:
*Proved
Iraq had trained thousands or radical Islamic terrorists from camps in Iraq
, over the four years immediately preceding the US Invasion of Iraq;
*
Iraq had several organized al Qaeda in camps in southern Iraq
; and many of the leaders of
al-Qaeda fled to Iraq when the Taliban goverment fell in Afganistan
; (Iraq's promise of safe harbor to al-Qaeda);
There are so many more facts/documents/photo's the cleary point to the fact that Iraq had their hands all in al-Qaeda, much more than just supporting thier so-cause, but a partnership which is primary goal was to destroy American. See you don't get all this information from the mainstream media, na that's just too boring...
Oh yea, here is one of the photos. The story behind the photo, when the US invaded Iraq, we went into one of mansions, and there was a huge 9-11 mural. Yea, we didn't see this on the evening news, no we didn't ..

This was quoted from the state-controlled Iraqi Newspaper on July 21, 2001.
You read this, and remember this was BEFORE the attack. Either they are psychic or they knew
"with the seriousness of the Bedoun of the desert about the way he will try to bomb the
Pentagon
after he destroys the
White House
." "will strike American on the arm that is already hurting and the US will curse the
memory of Frank Sinatra everytime he hears the songs
"... (Remember Frank Sinatra, New York, New York)
This was basically 2 months BEFORE 9/11, predicts the Pentagon, White House (remember the plan that crashed in PA, that's where it was headed the White House), New York....
Come on folks, from an Iraq state runned newspaper.. Honestly to read it now, just makes you want to cry for the people that lost their lives. Iraq knew it was coming, cause Iraq was in on it...

Where in the wrong country, last time I checked the terrorist were from Saudi Arabia and the money that financed 9/11 mostly came from Saudi Arabia. That's your hero for ya Mr. Bush and his best oil friends the Saudi's. Then again if Iraq had special interest like Saudi Arabia has we never would have attack them either.

cheropride must be smarter than most people in the world. There are few if anyone that believes Iraq had anything to do with 9-11 so your barking up the wrong tree.
And your right I will put this president down and have been for years. I am not the only one, this president will go down as one of the worst ever and his legacy that he seems so worried about will be one of a failure. I am sure with the economy going the way it is you think he is doing a good job, give me a break.

Wow that's your response, I guess Iraq must be psychic... That's why two weeks before the attacks on 9/11 Saddam Hussein put Iraq's Military on the highest alert since the Gulf War, again 2 weeks BEFORE 9/.11....
Hey perhaps you are right though, cause it was Bush that first stated that Iraq had WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction).... Perhaps then you will listen this man... YOu know, your hero....

Clinton never mentioned Al Queda did he. Your saying Iraq was partially responsible for 9-11, where is your proof. We already know that Al Queda was responsible so your saying Iraq and Al Queda where in this together and they were not. Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11 so get your facts strait.
If the war on terror was really that big a deal to this president he would have more troops in Afghanistan and he would NOT have disbanded the special unit set up to hunt Osama Binladen.

Ah proof, ah did you read my statement at the begining. Or oh yea, that's not proof....
how about this.... As I indicated above, back in the early 90's when bin laden & Iraq made their little pack, one of the benefits was that Iraq would give al-Qaeda "safe-habour".
Okay fast forward 2002... I clearly remember Bush's speech, "the axis of evil". We (the US) would come after anyone who harboured terrorist....
And I quote" "Members of Congres of BOTH policitcal parties, and members of the UN Security Council, agree that Saddam Hussein is a trheat to peace and must be disarmed"....."Iraq's WMD are controlled by a murderous tyrant who has already used chemical weapons to kill thousands of people" (wow kind of sounding like Clinton)
"We know that Iraq and al-Qaeda have had high-level contacts that go back a decade. Al Qaeda leads who fled Afganistan went to Iraq. These include one very senior al Qaeda leader who rec'd medical trmt in Baghdad, and who has been associated w/planning for chemical and biological attacks. And we know that after Sept 11, Saddam Hussein's regime gleefully celebrated the terrorist attacks on America."
"Saddam Hussein is harboring terrorist and instruments of terror, the instruments of mass death and destruction.
Okay these are just some of the quotes for Bush's address Oct 7.2002. Not only was the concern WMD, but a clear indication of ties to al-Qaeda.
Look we invaded Afganistan, they ran to Iraq, therefore we follow... They cannot hide. If a country let's them hide, well it's on.... Abu ad Masri, was the person that Bush had mentioned, and he became the head of the Al Qaeda in Iraq. He also organized terrorist camps in Southern Iraq, AFTER he fled Afganistan, when the Taliban Gov fell. He also specialized in vehichle-borne improvised explosive devices.
I can keep naming facts, where are your facts...

And another link...
As reported by the Middle East Intelligence Bulletin, in Oct 2001...
"Two Iraqi defectors have corroborated this claim. A former Iraqi military office, Sabah Shalifa Khodada Alami, said he was in charge of training an elite special forces team, "designed to plan and conduct operations against the US and British interest around the world. Using a Boeing 707 parked in the complex, Alami's team practiced hijacking planes without weapons."

You just don't get it do you?
Alot of the information your stating was just plain wrong. That information was planted by Iraqis in exile to get the US to invade Iraq so they could go back home and take over the gov't and it almost worked. Ahmad Chalabi was set to take over the gov't after the US gained control and then they would hold elections but this did not happen. The reason it did not happen is they found this Ahmad Chalabi made up and planted alot of the information you are now stating as fact.
If you will notice that Ahmad Chalabi is no where to be seen any more because they found out he is a liar and a criminal to boot.
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article6455.htm
. Our gov't had known alot of this information was false or could be false but they used it anyway.
One more time for you Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11

I ain't going to arguing w/you, really I am not. You free to have your opinion. Sure if you want to believe Iraq had nothing to do w/it, I guess next you are going to tell me we should all visit Iran, cuz there is another great Country.
I guess you are right,
Saddam was a great guy, and he had not idea it was coming, even though his State run paper predicted it;
Yea, I guess him putting his troups on high alert, wow that just most of been a coincidence.
Sure the Goverment was lying, he never harboured terrorist;
Wow, I guess, Clinton & Bush, and the entire Democratic/Repubilican Congress has been wrong along, he never had WMD, besides who are we, damn he want's so be it;
Yea, he let the inspectors in;
9/11 was a wake up call. If you don't think it can, and if steps are not taking to continue to protect this County, it WILL happen again.
I guess this guy is wrong to.....
God bless our TROOPS!!!!

I found this, I had heard of it before, but could never find the picture.
Back when our Troops invaded one of Saddam's Mansions, they found this hanging on the wall, as if it were a shrine... I hope after they took the photo, they burned it....
I can't get it to post here, but here is the link....

I never said Iraq was a good country. What I am saying is Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11. I was for going in to Iraq when they did but Bush screwed it up so bad by not having enough troops there in the beginning. Remove Saddam and get out but it took so long for him to find Saddam and meanwhile the place went down the tubes. Don't you remember seeing video of Iraq's looting all the gov't buildings and palaces, the whole place fell apart because we did not have enough troops to control it. Soon after that the Sunni and Shiites started fighting each other and that is when we lost the war.
No matter what we do know, know matter how calm it may look after we finally sent more troops in (which is what he should have done in the first place) as soon as we leave the place it will go into civil war. You know that we are paying all these different tribes milliions of dollars apiece to fight for us, what do you think will happen when they are not getting there money from the United States. Middle eastern people are notorious for changing sides in the middle of a fire fight if it looks like the other side is winning, this will not be different when we leave. Kaos will erupt be it next year when we leave or ten years from now so why not get out know because the war is lost one way or the other.

That is what the muslim extremist want us to do, and think we will do, pull out. After vietnam a lot of the world figured we were weak and cannot handle war, so if we pull out with out doing it with a plan, then that will be more motivation for them.

One would wonder if it takes more testicles to argue for change than it would be to stick with the status quo so as more people may like you, I will choose the first and you obviously chose the second.
