We are sad and disappointed to announce that C&R Motorsports Park a/k/a Palm Dale has been temporarily shut down for mud bogging activity to the public. South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) demanded a Cist and Desist order be put into effect and took us to court in Hendry County in front of Judge LaBoda today. (SFWMD) feels they are doing a public service by shutting us down. Judge LaBoda ordered the Temporary Restraining Order to Cist and Desist of any activity of C&R Motorsports Park a/k/a Palm Dale. If you would like to express your opinion please feel free to contact the following SFWMD representatives. We have done everything to best of our ability to prove them wrong.

How does SFWMD have any say so in what they do on their property? Beyond the use of water that is.

If they can prove that wetland has been destroyed, even on private property, Thats all they need.

If SFWMD can prove that any type of damage to any wet ponds, protected areas, or any other type of enviromental harm has been caused that is all they need to shut them down ...

The worst part is that C & R was one of my favorite places to ride - Second only to RR .... 

Hopefully they can figure it out soon ....

More of the same, big government screwing around with peoples rights. I liked C+R and spent a couple years there one weekend. They are doing it for the good of the people. By protecting the freaking empty pasture, this will enhance the people for generations to come. OH MY GOD i am ready to fire something up!  

SFWMD can screw off! They are really starting to annoy me.

Swift Mud is a pain in the azz. When my dad and I were building a golf course, they were always out there ready to bust any buddy for anything. That sucks that they're taking away riding areas too
