It is hard to believe that it has been 7 years.  Sad I pray for those families still struggling with the events of that tragic day, as well as for the families of our military service who continue to respond to the events of this day.

We all lost something that day. Someone took a swipe at Democracy and our American ways. We will never forget! Lets not get complacent and wait for the next. Be assured they are coming again and the next time will be worse than 9/11. The elections are coming up and will make a significant impact on how we will protect ourselves in the future.

this morning i was working on a job at my neighbors house and the news was on. they took a moment of silence at ground zero. i put my tools down and i looked over and my neighbor was praying also. i thought about everyone that was affected on that day and especially my friend from highschool Adam Rand who died, he was one of the first group of firemen to go up.

this is definatly a big thing, i was STUNNED this morning in class when i heard them come on over the intercom for a moment of silence, and everyone in my class stopped and took in the moment untill the class next to ours busted out into laughter as if it was some big joke. I couldnt believe it! an then a girl in my class was on the announcements an sung the national anthem flawlessly and the class next door had the urge to clap as if they had some respect, pretty much ruined my day

Good point!!  People NEVER need to FORGET 9-11....  It needs to remind us everyday that our FREEDOM comes at a cost!!!  You look at our GREAT SOLIDIERS, all of them VOLUNTERED to be there, and fight this war.  Not only do they VOLUNTEER to be there, they have to listen to so many politicians say, we should not be over there...

No matter what, I am PROUD to be an AMERICAN, and we are all blessed to have brave MEN and WOMEN protect this Country, cause as it has been said many times, Freedom don't come Free.

I will never forget how I felt that aweful day.  But the least, it also brings to mind how proud I am of our TROUPS!
