At the final race of this series during the drivers' meeting:

We will draw a number that will be used to determine how many scores a rider may drop.

The remaining scores will then be tallied in order to determine the top points leaders for each class.

On the SDTA website   www.southerndirttrackassociation.com  I have posted cumulative  totals as of today 9/10/08 to give everyone an idea just how close in points some riders are with one another. But, keep in mind there is still one race left and then the drops have to be factored in.

The date and location of the series' trophy presentation should be announced.

And for all of you TT holdouts, some dates for those events should be announced as well along with Flat Track races and the next series.

This is not something new, but actually something that has been used since the first flat track series. It is simply to help those out who may have missed a race or two because they were at a wedding or birth, or maybe just had a mechanical failure and didn't make the main event. In addition, making the number of drops unknown prevents most riders from being able to sit out races towards the end of a series just because they think they "have it in the bag". With the current points totals, in some cases, if the points leader of a class sits out on 9/20 it could very well cost them their class title. We'll just have to wait and see how it all shakes out and it ought to get interesting at the last race...  Wink

Jennifer? I don't know of any other in Brady's price range. Then again, he may have an inside line with some of the gals at Kerr's Winghouse! Grin

Well, you can rock me to sleep now, what with the nightmares I'll be having. How far in the swamps did you have to trek to sign those lovelies up?
Makes one wonder about quad32's pals he hangs with, but then again, you DID sign up that one for him. Did you have on the plaid pants for that?  Grin

Ok, I've recruited the motorcycle trophy girls since Brady doesn't know any outside of the swamp.

I assumed (we know what that does; and it did) since you handed out the trophies that you'd be giving out the smooches!. Man, are those tires hard.
