yeaaa....i am kinda pissed, tore my whole transmission up. It's gonna be time for that brute force, I am not dropping 1800 dollars to fix a freaking transmission...even though I just dropped a lot of money in that bike, 1200 in axles, a few hundred in maint., and countless hours...
to fix the trans you have to split the case...F THAT! I'm pissed about it, I wasn't even dogging it, I rode harder every other ride, then I break it with matt on my bike

Yea...sucks. I still can't even figure out what is wrong...it just acts like its in neutral when it is in drive...i don't get it. I don't know where else to look, I am going to change the oil now, but I doubt I broke anything internal if there aren't any metal pieces in the oil...it would be pretty apparent if something broke. it didn't sound like I broke anything internal either...I dunno

I wish...that is easy. It's all mechanical as far as the trans is concerned. I have it all torn apart right now, and the trans shaft spins like it does in neutral when it is in reverse. NO noises, no grinding, no shavings in the oil, nothing strange except my reverse won't work. I'm not really sure whats going on but it's not going in the shop because they will just say replace the whole trans/motor...I might end up selling as is or find a motor/trans on ebay...not sure yet.

I'll let you know, matt is talking about tearing into the motor...I'd love to do the hot cams and 734 kit
I need to fix this R problem...I just don't get it, everything works except reverse...

u gonna pay for it too? lol u will break more than you fix...i know it! it will end up as a 834 after you are done because we will try to do the 734 and something will break when we are doing it...lol
anyway, i dunno what i am doing...I need to split the case, which means that the whole motor has to come OUT and off...which really really really really sucks

5k is payoff, can't sell for any less. It needs 1k in work. Dealership quoted me 7hrs labor...It would be all put back together if I sold it, which at this point I'd love to sell, but can't take a penny less than 5k. I just put 1600 in gorilla axles with 1 ride (last ride that I broke my reverse on), new wheel bearings, brakes, etc the list goes on. I dump money in to the bike all the time. Nohting goes unfixed
The bike works perfect, runs like new, etc, foward works just no reverse. Everything on the bike works with the exception of reverse...
