The officer that spoke to us at the HUMP was very friendly. He was encourgaing people to come out an ride there. He checked everones bike for registration.
Also, he said they located an area that they are going to make a riding park here miami. lets keep our fingers crossed.

that would be nice. so why isn't 8th street legal? isn't it close to the humps? and 8st is way bigger and more secluded

jrpro, whats up let me know if I can give you some info on 8st and the humps I have lived here 39 years and have been involved with the legal riding area issues for a couple of years. Remember we spoke briefly at holylands a while, you, matt, and myself. You have the pledge form I mailed you. Talk to you soon.

Will do, I used to ride 8th street all the time, I went back once recently, but it was interesting to say the least...PM me any info you have though, I'd be more than willing to read.

I see that the Hump is still open, FOR NOW.
I havent been out there in quite some time. If everyone stays away from the farms the cops usually leave you alone. Problem out there is the little cute sport quads liking to ride full throttle through everyones property.

I live 5 minutes from 8th street. i been there 8 str8 weeks and once stay till 4am.
coming from the turnpike you get off bird road 40st street. head west to the end of bird and you'll see the parking lot

the thing is tho, its really really flooded. on my grizzly its to my handlebars in some places. you'll have to stick to the trails if your bike doesnt like water
