I guess it's o.k. to post pics of riding without helmets on this site now.  I've reported several of those posts to moderators, but they're still there.  I've also seen pics from the mud events of boobs.  Time to start searching the porn sites and start posting.

exactly.  plus, when one of those non-helmet riders cracks their heads open and become wards of the state, why in the he11 should my tax dollars pay to take care of them?

if you ride without a helmet youre an idiot. the only case in which i might consider not wearing one is if im riding 2 up with a girl (then id be going super slow and talking alot). but, if im riding by myself whether on a 50 or on a 450, it is with a helmet. even on a ute. especially when pulling people out with ropes with hooks on them. that hook would hurt if it hit you. ive seen it. it does happen. youre asking for it when you dont wear a helmet. most accidents that end up fatal could be avoided with a helmet. i know alot of you have hard heads but theyre not that hard.

I will agree with you backinthesaddle & Fox17 but what about the rest of the safety equipment let see goggles for your eyes chin proctor long sleeve shirt for the sun and trees chest guard, gloves, shin guards, knee pads, motocross boots, back brace, or kidney belt, and for sidebysides full seat harness also safety shut off in case we fall off. OR we could get some  brains think about what we are doing riding off road in the woods where anything could happen so think it out before you do it dont drink to much beer and don't let your guard down. BUT I know a lot people wont do that so you can give them advise and let them decide what to do and if you do it the right way instead of negative yack I thing it will work P.S. I may be wrong but I have never seen a outrite photo of boobies flashed on the site my 2 cents.

looks like the boob pic is gone now, which means the moderators deleted it, but left the no helmet pics. in place  This tells me the mods are ok with it, so, the rules are: no porn, but helmetless riding pics are o.k..  Glad I got that straightened out.

and Rider, i agree about all the other equipment, my family wears all of it, but only helmets are mandated for the riding pics

i do agree that we should wear all the gear available but the kidney belt, knee guards and elbow gaurds are not near as important as a helmet. goggles, yes, chest protector, yes. but, were talking spilt brains all over the trail or a bruised or broken knee or elbow. the kidney belt is for a sore back. now, i do agree with you but people need to at least wear a helmet and goggles. the other stuff isnt as much life or death as the helmet.

now, the drinking, you dont want me to start there. there was a moron in SE one day with a bud light in one hand the throttle in the other, a 10-12 year old on the back of the quad. both had goggles, neither had helmets, one was shirtless, both had shorts and tennis shoes on. and they were on a raptor 660. wtf? somebody needs to shoot that scum bag. first for the danger his kid was in and second for being so friggin stupid.

If people want to ride without helmets, that is their choice. I don't think this site should condone it. It makes us look irresponsible, careless and just plain STUPID!

I dont care what kind of riding it is, I never go anywhere without my boots, chest protector, or helmet. I have other equipment I wear, but if I'm missing one of those three, I wont ride. Even putting around in the mud, you dont know whats down there. If you flip off in the mud, your head can be going straight towards jagged rocks.
