so im sleeping on the couch and i here the boat running, my brother comes in and asks if im flushing the motor(went slatwater fishing earlier today), i say "no weren't you", he was inside. so im thinking somebody's in my backyard and started the boat, i go outside and kill the motor.30 minutes later im out front practicing throwing a cast net and out of nowhere the boat just startes itself up? it even stops the starter motor once it fires, like a normal start up? idk what the prob is, all my wiring is ok... i find it funny as hell lol

keyswitch works fine, all wiring is ok... i dont get it, but it sure was funny...

im the other owner of the boat... yea its because the key switch was bad, it got water in it and the voltage slowly trickles over and when it builds enough it can make the connection in the switch through the water. since it was salt water, the switch just doesn't work now. thats whay a marine switch is sealed. got a Yamaha marine key switch on the way.
