Camper Electrical HELP

I need some electrical help from the camper GURU's out there. I have a 27 foot camper. I bought it from a guy at RR. There is a plug on the back that I plug into my generator. But the generator only supplies power to the window a/c and a few outlets. The previous owner ran romex to the a/c and a couple of outlets. This is okay but how do I get power to the stereo, microwave, refrigerator and such. There is a cradle on the front of the trailer where it looks like two batteries would sit. I traced the wires and it looks like they go back to the circuit panel under the bed. There are circuit fuses on the panel that run to the stereo and such but where does the power come from? Are those loads 12v or 120 volt.. AC or DC. My guess is that the stereo and such would run off of the batteries only. So..do I buy and 120 to 12 volt inverter? What do I do?
Thanks
Please Help.

hey. your dc power comes from the power invertor circuit panel under the bed. this is you ac/dc to dc invertor. connect a 12V deep cycle batt to the connectors in the front and make sure all your fuses are good and everything should turn on. the microwave will run on ac power only and the fridge will need propane to run off of 12v dc. same thing with a water heater. there also should be an AC 30 amp or 50 amp hookup located on the back of the trailer. this connection will run all ac power needs you will have. you can pm me with very specific questions if you want or give me you Cell # and i will help you out!! later carmine
