Got a great deal on the setup.  Anyway, did some fitting and adjusting and got it installed.  I'll post up results (I'm not using any electronics at this time...no MAP adjuster) soon enough







And does anyone know if I can use the MAP adjuster for my MAF on 2002 ford ranger 3.0 flex fuel?

I know someone posted on the HHO forums that has the same truck as me.  He was posting 20% increase w/o any electronics...

Looks good.

Why didn't you inject the gas on the other side of the MAF sensor?

Supposibly with my truck, it causes it to run rough because of POST MAF injected air not being accounted for.  Basically it puts too much air that the PCM didn't account for.

I just did a lot of reading and everyone with a 3.0 or 4.0 ford did it before the MAF.  A few did it after the MAF, but quickly changed it to before.

I need help with the MAP sensor! Smiley

I put mine after the MAF and it purrrrrsssss like a kitten.

Maybe it's because I have 4 bottles and the gas is more concentrated.

Yea, I have heard different things from different sites.  Everyone with the 3.0 or 4.0 ford ends up putting it before the maf, so thats what i opted for Smiley

I'm happy with it so far...purrs like crazy, I didn't even notice it running it was so smooth!

I have a 99 GMC, Z71, 5.3L, 4X4, 7" lift, 35" tires 109,000 miles on it.

Cool. The one guy that came into my office that put it on his ranger said that the first tank showed 28, but since then it went back to 20. He is still working on it because that was the first one he built and he said that he built it simplified.

He said that he just hooked up the system with alligator style clips just to see if it would work. No MAF sensor or anything. It must have been a very basic system because he said that he even took it off and hooked it up to his mower.  Grin

He said 19 before, then 28 on first tank, then back to 20

I am using 3 teaspoons per 2/3 quart. Im goin to sitch over to the sodium hydrate next tankful.

Im on my 3rd refill & theres a good sedement layer floating near the bottom. Guess its time to wash them out. 8 tspns seems high,is it producing a thick fog immediately?

I'm going by the water4gas books. It makes gas very fast. I have them wired in series so it breaks down the voltage.

I hope you're using a bubbler, I see moisture in the line.

I also installed indicator lights so I know the HHO generators are working. I have them wired in series in pairs. One is wired with green and the other is wired with red. Hence the green and red lights. I also installed a switch to turn them off if I need to have the key on without the truck running I don't have to pull the fuses. I used to have a factory cd player mounted there that was seperate from the factory AM/FM cassette player. Since I have an aftermarket stereo I decided to install the stuff there with the elecric brake controller.
