will 31x10.50-15 fot a 15x10 wheel or is the wheel too wide. if not, will 33x12.50-15 fit a 15x8 wheel properly?

you can use a 10" wide wheel for a 10.5 tire but its not suggested for offroad use, for the 33's it would be best to use a 8.5

yea, you can do it but there are people out there who would kill for a 10" wide wheel becasue 12.5" wide tires are perfect or them. the tires you have are in the stock rims range.

the reason i ask is im lookin at a toyota and it has the stock ugly rims now and i wanted to get custom ones but in the future i want to lift it and put 33/12.50/15s on it. i am trying to decide wether to keep the stock ones until i lift it or get a set now. i was hoping the 10.5s would work on a 10" wide wheel. i do take my trucks offroad so.....

The tires will fir either rim. Your main issue is going to be your offset. The stock wheel will not have as much offset as the aftermarket ones and if you put 12.5" wide tire on that rim you will get terrible rubbing. I had 11.5" wide tires on 8" wide rims(aftermarket) on my old truck with 4" offset and they worked great.

just remember offset and back spacing are different proper offset is what allows you to but the biggest tire possible.  Wheel width is important to ensure the bead doesn't break when off-roading unless you wana get bead locks  Wink but their not street legal
