im tryin to find the tow cap on an 86 bronco II w/ the 2.9 v6 and 5spd manual tranny
what i would like to pull is a 6X12 trailer w/ a brute force,a 400ex, and a CR125 any ideas on if that will work if not what about a 5x8 w/ just the 400ex and CR125

I dont know the tow capacity of a Bronco 2 but it should have no trouble with that little bit of weight. You are only talking less than 2000lbs. total.

MAke sure you have a frame mounted hitch,dont trust a hole in the bumper.

I had a 88 ranger with a 2.9 and towed a home made 16` trailer with 2, 4 wheelers.A Honda 500 and Yamaha bigbear 400. No problem towing.The ranger was auotmatic.

if it a automatic, put a aux trans cooler in front of the radatior.. will save you $$$ in the long run...

true, autos get hot realy quick. i have 3 trans coolers and the trans still runs hot off roding.

my sisters got real hot last time we went riding and blew the seal between it and the engine. i guess fords build up pressure when they get real hot. the bronco he is lookin at is a 5-speed though.
