Major props to Gecker Motorsports for the Sumter race

I would like to personally thank the Gecker Motorsports group along with Dave, Brady and Brett for all there hard work that went into this race. The Gecker folks went above and beyond the call of duty for this race by providing the spectators several options of entertainment besides the racing.
Yes there were a few crashes but everyone needs to keep in mind this is racing and that will and can happen on any track, I was very impressed with the amount of traction the surface had and how smooth it was, for bikes these are 2 of the most important elements for a ideal track surface. Yes it was tight but I also believe tight tracks provide close racing and that is what the spectators want to see.
Of course we can share ideas on how to make things better for the next race we have at Sumter but I think it is also important to show our sincere appreciation to the Gecker group for there extreme efforts from our first race with them.

I agree with Shawn 100%. Can t say "THANKS" enough to all that work the track.
The groove had grip. Get outside it and it got loose and you would lose alot of time. I got passed by the 18 because I didn t stay on the groove. Hard to pass on the outside. Have to be race smarter. I am told alot by people I trust....."slower is faster" and Saturday that was true.
