Bought my AC at Thomasville Tractor Co. in Georgia. They delivered it to me on a Saturday. Great service.

First time I took it out, I broke the front differential
BUT they fixed it and hasnt had any problems since. I give this machine hell. I ride in a lot of water and mud.

Definitely no clearance issues. Could have went with 28.5's with no problem there. I do have a little trouble turning my 27's in thick mud in high gear. In low gear I have no problem though. My 500 is totally stock. When I start doing some mods, I'm sure it will help. The AC is the best in the mud that I have seen. The only others that can hang with me around here is kawasaki brutes with 28.5's.

sweet! gonna stick w/26's. we can find mud here but not like fla.
around here, the stockers will stay on. the 589's are for my florida trips. other than playing w/ you guys, the bike will be getting to my camp in wca3a. from pump 8 or from alligator alley, it's a good ride so it is good to hear the a.c. gets-r-done.
thanks

ok, i gt the point! everyone says 27's. i'll concider it.
till someone makes a pipe, and k&n gets their filter out for my a.c. 500,
will i have problems turning them? i don't wanna get bogged down in stock configuration.

Don't use High test unless you put in a High Comp piston . The ignition gives a higher rpm limit and a more agressive timing curve , makes the motor feel sporty .

I have a stock Arctic Cat 500, and I use 93 octane gas in it, is that a good or bad idea?
