I gotta tell ya, My daughter has a 2003 Recon, I've taken it in to some serious deep mud/water and this thing is unstopable. I am so unbelievably (sp) impressed with this quad. I've never ridden an Ozark so I can't comment.

My daughter has an Ozark and it does good in the mud. I ride it once in a while and it's a fun quad for a 250.

Thats a great price. She'll love that quad.
On another note. I have major respect for you. I love your caption at the bottom of your posts. It's great to see that coming from young people.

I ride an ozark. I did some research before I bought. the ozark has front disc brakes. the honda has drum brakes(drum brakes hold mud and dirt). ozark has a bigger motor. ozark has a bigger gas tank. I believe the ozark is a little bit taller too. cost a couple of hundred more but well worth it. I put 25 inch gators on the back of mine and can go through alot of slop. Nice little bike. Actually goes 45 mph with the stock tires on it. paid 36 hundred something at stuart motor sports out the door. also put a highlifter lift on it.

YOU NEED TO BREAK IT IN!!!! I have owned upwards of 50 bikes in my life, from a 1974 trail 70 honda 90 atc yz 490 and so on YOU ALWAYS BREAK IN YOUR BIKE. If you do not know how; here it is.... do not let it idle for extended periods, do not run it wide open, vary the trottle 1/4,1/2,3/4 for varied amounts of time. The normal recomended time is 20 hrs. very easy to do and will allow your valves and rings to seat properly. Good luck
