Does anyone store your atv inside of an enclosed trailer, locked down in a pay storage area?
Or inside of an enclosed trailer anywhere. Worried about heat damage. These can get hot inside.

Just leave the roof vent open and you will be fine. If you don't have one they make a cover for the roof vent so you can leave it open and rain won't come in.

Put a big piece of glass over them and that will work.

I store a quad in a rubbermaid lawnmower shed. Its low enough to hide under a fence so no one can see it. A stock 400ex or recon will fit. Nothing bigger though. They cost $300 each at Home Depot.

I've been storing mine inside of an enclosed trailer for years. Never any heat issues. I have owned a bunch of different quads over the years.

This is it.
http://rubbermaid.com/rubbermaid/product/product.jhtml?prodId=HPProd100677#
I don't know if Home Depot still sells it. If not, try Lowes. We bought ours 3 years ago. I bought two of them. I still have the Recon in there. The 400EX barely fit and I had to back it in so the handle bars would clear as the front part of the shed is slightly taller. It was stock width with aftermarket quad bend 400ex bars. I sold the 400ex and now store my lawnmower in the second one.
They come in a big box, then you have to assemble it. Simple pad lock on the front that could be easily cut off as its just a plastic latch. Even so, good cheap dry storage. In neighborhoods like mine that need Home Owners Association approval and placement, its hidden from view under a 5.5' fence so no hassles.

whatever you do, don't keep your atv in an enclosed trailer in the parking lot of your apartment complex.

we used to keep ours in a trailer. now we have a shed and its every bit as hot in there as a trailer. the trailer is the way to go. when you want to go ride, just hook it up and leave. no loading and unloading.
