i raced enduro cars at desoto and it is a asphalt track. go to karnac.com and look up tracks,it has every racecar track dirt or otherwise listed.hows east bay coming along?
had an idea--at the end of the day what do you think of having the winners of the motorcycle classes race each other three laps for cash or king of the hill, mad dash for cash?--yea yea the quads could do it too.

Are you saying the winners of the Expert, Amateur, Vintage, and Super Senior classes should race each other?

The Expert class rider would obviously be faster than the other three riders.

I have previously done something like this a few times for the quads at Thunderbowl, although it wasn't just for the winners. It worked out OK, but an Open class rider won every time.

Remind me and we can discuss it at the riders meeting.

I think we should let Super Nate see the lap time difference between the Expert class and the other classes before we offer this dash for cash.

Don't get me wrong I am not opposed to taking $$$ from my Dad or the rest of my buddies if they really want to sign up???

Man I can't wait until Sat and whoever is on here chatting about rain, they can just get that out there head right now. It is not going to rain

Slower riders lined up in front of faster riders?.... Definately not.

I appreciate the ideas though, keep 'em coming.

Oh this is sounding better, I like this idea, make the fastest guy chase down the less faster guys or make the fastest guy start by facing the wrong direction. This would be very cool for the spectators and every one involved.

I have another idea, We could take the fastest 5 guys on quads and have them trade with the 5 fastest Motorcycle guys and they can race against each other in 2 different races. One race with Motorcycle guys riding quads and another race with the Quad guys riding our Motorcycles?

I will volunteer my bike who else is interested?

Shawn, Have you been drinking your 110 octane race fuel instead of putting it in your bike?  Grin

i think a staggerd start would be the best thing to do! run them three laps.

has anyone thought of having number plates 1 through 5 or 10 for the top riders in each class, top points holders.?

Here's videos of the motorcycle finals at Ocala. This was the first time he used the camcorder and was very shaky, but I still want to share them with everyone.

id like to see the motorcycle classes structured by cc's not just the any bike rule.
what do you guys think?----
(for next year of course)

Of course we are open to restructuring the classes but first we need to see 20-30 riders show up and sign up for the same class before we split them.

I think our total rider turnout for Ocala was 62 and most were quads due to the AHRMA national in SC, I hope we have a record attendance for bikes tomorrow maybe we can break the 37 rider record from Auburndale.

Please bring as many spectators as possible, there Will be plenty for them to stay busy besides watching us race.

yep defantly need more bikes to change rules. we should have another rider soon for our team, maby this weekend! we only race honda 350's. might have to actually spend some money on them to make more horsepower to keep up with the big bikes.
ow i actually said spend money!
see ya saturday!

true true it's mostly the rider! both of our bikes are identical but chuck just has better corner speed than i do, somthin im workin on, but those big bikes kinda pull us on the straights. we decided to do this for fun too, but it's a whole lot more fun when your at least close to the front. looking forward to webster, real curious about the track?

Heh heh heh, love those big singles!! Kind of the best of both world's. Not as heavy as a twin and easier to throw around. Still working on the throwing around part. It is fun to be able to pull with just about everybody down the straights. Keep it ssideways!

T'was a good day for racing. I've got a load of pics from the bikes. I have a few of the quads though not nearly as many. Ben was doing the shooting and favors the bikes! Smiley
