Several people have asked me what to expect with this track, so here goes:
* The surface is white gumbo clay.
* It holds moisture very well and has hardly no dust. We ran the entire AMA and AHRMA Winter Nationals on it for two days without watering it.
* The track will blue groove very quickly with lots of traffic.
* The track is 3/8 mile long. It is bigger than Eastbay, but has less banking. It is a big fast track, but it is no more dangerous than any other track. We had 300+ riders there for the AMA and AHRMA nationals during Bike Week with no major accidents or injuries.
* The track is WIDE. The cars routineley run 3 and 4 wide through the turns.
* Camping is allowed at the track. Camping will be in the grass parking area outside the track. There is no charge to camp.
* There are nice, paved pits.
* There is a full concession stand.
* There are nice, clean restrooms.
* There will be no alcohol sold the day we race, nor will there be ANY alcohol allowed in the pits.
